A MAN from Cebu hit the jackpot after betting on a combination of numbers based on the birthdays and ages of his family members, winning over P102 million in the Lotto 6/42 draw.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) confirmed that the lucky bettor claimed his P102,346,298.00 prize at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City on June 11.
The winning combination — 05-22-14-03-23-11 — was drawn on June 3.
According to the PCSO, the winner placed his bet on May 27 at a lotto outlet in South Town Center, Talisay City, Cebu.
The new millionaire told PCSO officials that the winning numbers were based on important family dates and ages.
He said he plans to use the money to support his children’s education and invest in a property to secure their future.
