PINAG-UUSAPAN pa ng Department of Health kung ano ang magiging papel o trabaho ni dating Chief PNP at bagong talagang undersecretary na si Camilo Cascolan.
“I have already spoken with Undersecretary Cascolan and we already talked about when he will be taking his oath. He already submitted all his credentials to the department and we are now discussing kung saan assignment ni Usec. Cascolan,” ayon kay DOH officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire.
Aniya, dahil sa credentials ni Cascolan ay maaari itong mailagay sa operations.
“Tinitingnan ho natin ngayon ito pong areas of operations, or admin and finance, where his credentials can be of use to the department,” dagdag pa ng opisyal.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos na ang trabaho ng ex-Philippine National Police (PNP) chief ay “administrative audit.”
“It’s not health issues that he has to look at that’s why he doesn’t have to be a doctor. He’s going to look at the function of the DOH,” dagdag pa ni Marcos.
Kinumpirma ng DOH ang appointment ni Cascolan nitong Linggo, Oktubre 23.
