WELCOME kay Pangulong Duterte ang ginawang paghingi ng sorry ng World Bank kaugnay sa maling ulat nito sa kalagayan ng edukasyon at mga mag-aaral sa bansa.
“It is not good to, you know, commit wrong internationally. But good as any, we welcome their apology and, of course, that they should…,” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang regular na Talk to the People nitong Lunes ng gabi.
Kasabay nito, pinuri ni Duterte si Education Secretary Leonor Briones matapos almahan ang naging report ng WB.
“I commend Secretary, again, Secretary Leonor Briones for calling out the World Bank on this issue. I hope a more accurate report based on the latest data will be made,” dagdag pa ng Pangulo.
