“Dahil malapit yung Pilipinas sa Taiwan, yung Taiwan malaki ang demanda ng dragon fruit, Eh they can only plant dragon fruit three or four times, three or four months of the year.
“So if we can shift our farmers to plant dragon fruit kapag hindi na kailangan yung palay, para maibenta sa Taiwan kapag kailangan. Mas malaki kita nila. Think times three or times four. So that’s going to be a big help,” dagdag pa niya.
“Sandro Marcos should try planting dragon fruit taking note of how long it takes to grow from planting until it bears fruit. He might have gotten three rice crops in the same time. He could also try nurturing his brain while he is at it,” ayon sa Twitter handle na @MiaMagdalena.
“Clear example Sandro immature trying hard wannabee wanting to make an impression to look good,” sabi naman ni Vincent T. Alunan sa isa pang tweet.
“How can you replace rice after its harvest season with a dragon fruit in your own farmland when in fact the plant is not a ‘recycling’ crop. It takes about 2 to 3 years to bear fruit?” sabi naman ni Clive Reyes JR.
