ITINANGGI ni dating Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque ang pahayag ni Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) chair Alejandro Tengco na nag-abogado siya sa isang ilegal na Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO).
Ayon kay Roque hindi siya kasama sa pagbuo ng organization chart ng Lucky South.
Ayon kay Tengco si Roque ang legal counsel ng nasabing POGO na kamakailan ay ni-raid sa Porac, Pampanga.
“As clearly stated by PAGCOR Chairman Alejandro Tengco in today’s Senate hearing, I requested a rescheduling of arrears payment of a lessee and principal of my client Whirlwind Corporation,” paliwanag ni Roque.
“My client is a service provider to Lucky South, then a holder of a valid license from PAGCOR,” dagdag nito.
“I clarify that I did not consent to nor was I informed of my name’s inclusion in any submission by Lucky South with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) concerning license renewal,” anya pa.
