MARIING itinanggi ng tanggapan ni Speaker Martin Romualdez ang kumalat na balita sa social media na na-stroke diumano si Speaker Martin Romualdez at ngayon ay naka-confine sa ospital.
“These allegations are completely untrue and are clearly designed to mislead the public and sow confusion,” ayon sa abogadong si Lemuel Erwin Romero, head executive assistant sa tanggapan ni Romualdez.
Anya, malakas si Romualdez at patuloy na ginagawa ang kanyang trabaho bilang lider ng Kamara.
“Speaker Romualdez is in excellent health and continues to perform his duties with dedication and focus,” pahayag nito.
Inisa-isa rin ni Romero ang mga dinaluhang events ni Romualdez nitong Biyernes.
Ayon sa abogado, Biyernes ng umaga ay dumalo ito sa Malacanang para sa pagpirma ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos sa Ligtas Pinoy Centers Act (RA 12076) at Student Loan Payment Moratorium During Disasters and Emergencies Act (RA 12077).
Nagtungo rin ito sa yearend celebration at thanksgiving party ng League of Provinces of the Philippines at Imelda Hall sa Malacanang.
“We urge everyone to rely only on verified and official sources of information and to reject disinformation that seeks to undermine trust in our leaders and institutions,” hiling ni Romero sa publiko.
