“Ang pinaghuhugutan ko no’n, I remember, in the 17th Congress. And I’d like to take advantage of this opportunity to ask and seek… well… forgiveness and apologize to Senator Leila de Lima because, at that time, it seems that the past administration was sending a message to the legislative that hindi pwedeng may opposition.
“I’d be lying if I say I wasn’t hurt then, Congw. Geraldine. His reign was marked by fear, intimidation, and the silencing of anyone who dared to stand for what was right,” ayon sa mensahe ni de Lima na nakapost sa X.
“It makes me question how many politicians still let fear hold them back from accountability. PERO PINAPATAWAD KITA. As women, we must refuse to be silenced or intimidated by any madman ever again. We do the things we believe are good for our people. Salamat sa iyong katapangan,” dagdag pa nito.
