Quadcom recommends crimes against humanity charges vs Digong, others

THE House quad-committee has recommended filing crimes against humanity charges against former President Rodrigo Duterte, Senators Ronald dela Rosa and Christopher Lawrence Go, and former PNP chiefs Oscar Albayalde and Debold Sinas.

Also named were former PCSO official PCol. Royina Garma, PCol. Edilberto Leonardo, and Ermina “Muking” Espino.

The committee also endorsed charges against co-conspirators involved in the killing of three Chinese nationals at the Davao Prison and Penal Farm in August 2016.

Those implicated include ex-President Duterte, PCol. Garma, PCol. Leonardo, SPO4 Arthur Narzolis, and Supt. Gerardo Padilla.

Additionally, charges were recommended against individuals allegedly involved in the murder of Gen. Wesley Barayuga. PCol. Garma, PCol. Leonardo, and four others were named.

Representative Barbers emphasized the need for further investigations into several individuals reportedly linked to illegal drug operations or POGO-related activities.

Those mentioned include Michael Yang, Allan Lin, Charlie Tan, Sammy Uy, Harry Roque, Cassandra Li Ong, Alice Guo, and Tony Yang.

The recommendations signal intensified efforts to pursue accountability in high-profile cases.
