ISINAMA na ang Pilipinas sa tourist destination na blacklisted ng China dahil nga sa mainit na isyu ng POGO.
Ito ang sinabi ngayon ni Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri hinggil sa sinabing pag-blacklist sa Pinas ng China dahil sa mainit na usapin ng POGO industry.
“Because of the problem of POGO, the Philippines now is blacklisted and tourists now are discouraged to go to the Philippines,” ani Zubiri sa hearing sa Senado. Base anya ito sa impormasyon na nakuha niya sa pakikipag-usap kay Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Huang Xilian.
“The Philippines now is part of a blacklist of tourist sites because they do not know if the tourist will be joining POGO operations and they do not know if the Chinese nationals who go to the Philippines will be safe from illegal activities being done by the triad, by the syndicates operating POGO. They may also be kidnapped, mistaken as POGO operators,” dagdag pa ni Zubiri.
Ito na rin marahil ang dahilan ng pagbagsak ng bilang ng mga turista mula sa China.
