INIUTOS ng Malacanang na imbestigahan ang pagpaslang sa broadcaster commentator na si Percy Lapid sa Las Pinas Lunes ng gabi.
Sinabi ni Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Hubert Guevarra na inatasan na ng tanggapan ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang PNP para alamin ang motibo at pagkakakilanlan ng mga suspek na pumatay sa journalist.
“The Office of the President, particularly President Marcos, is concerned with what happened to Percy Lapid,” sinabi ni Guevarra.
“In fact we have been instructed to take a look at the conduct of the investigation on the ambush of him last night,” dagdag pa niya.
Nakikipagpulong naman si Guevarra sa mga awtoridad ukol sa kaso ni Lapid.
“I was in communication with certain officials who advised me that the Southern Police District has created a task force on Percy Lapid,” aniya ni Guevarra.
