NANGAKO si Pangulong Duterte na susuportahan si House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez sakaling tumakbo itong Vice President sa 2022 elections.
Sa kanyang talumpati, sinabi ni Duterte na naipangangako niya ang suporta kay Romualdez nang panahong pinag-aawayan ang posisyon sa pagka-Speaker ng Kamara.
“Huwag ka na lang maghabol diyan and next election, which is just around the corner, if you run for vice president, I will support you. And I will hold on that commitment,” sabi ni Duterte.
Idinagdag pa ni Duterte na wala nang kwenta na pag-usapan ang pagtakbo niya bilang bise presidente ng Pilipinas.
“So ‘yan ang totoo diyan. So useless itong talking about vice president running. We’re only two of us there at I whispered to him, ‘Huwag mo na lang galawin tutal ikaw, coming in late ka, coming in from the cold,'” ayon pa kay Duterte.
