PINUNA ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang mababang kalidad ng mga libro at iba pang babasahing ipinamamahagi ng Department of Education (DepEd).
“As far as for the horror stories that we have heard about the poor quality of educational materials and supplies that being given to our school. This must end,” sabi ni Marcos sa kanyang kauna-unahang State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Gayunman, hindi lang anya ang mga materyales ang dapat ayusin kundi ang pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral na naangkop sa kasalukuyang teknolohiya.
“Once again, I’m not talking about history or what is being taught. I’m talking about materials that are necessary for this day and age. Children now need connectivity to the internet, devices, and educational tools,” dagdag ni Marcos.
Anya pa, dapat pag-ibayuhin pa ng mga Pinoy ang husay nito sa command ng English language na adbantahe para makakuha ng trabaho.
“Foreign employers have always favored Filipino employees because of our command of the English language. This is an advantage that we must continue to enjoy,” ayon pa kay Marcos.
