ITINALAGA bilang bagong kalihim ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) si Southern Leyte Representative Roger Mercado.
Ito ay matapos magbitiw ni Mark Villar noong isang linggo para bigyan-daan ang pagtakbo niya sa pagkasenador sa 2022 elections.
Si Mercado ay deputy majority leader, miyembro ng Committees on Agriculture and Food, Energy, Flagship Programs and Projects, Natural Resources, Persons with Disabilities, Public Order and Safety, Tourism, at Trade and Industry.
