BUKAS pa rin si Vice President Leni Robredo na tumakbo sa pagkapangulo sa 2022 elections.
Ito ang sinabi ni Senador Panfilo Lacson ngayong Huwebes matapos umanong tanggihan ni Robredo ang alok niyang “sure unification” na siyang lalaban sa mga pambato ng administrasyon sa darating na halalan.
Ayon kay Lacson sa isang panayam sa telebisyon, may “resistance” sa panig ni Robredo hinggil sa iniaalok niyang unification formula.
“I offered her a sure unification effort or formula to unite in the end. There was resistance. I won’t discuss the details, but that’s what I see. Senate President knows this because I offered it to her openly in his presence,” pahayag ni Lacson.
Matatandaan na nakipagpulong si Lacson kasama si Senate President Vicente Sotto III kay Robredo noong isang linggo hinggil sa posiblen pagsasanib-pwersa para sa darating na halalan.
“She resisted. She is not sold to the idea but it was a sure formula for putting up at least, between the two of us, a common candidate but unfortunately, she didn’t buy it,” dagdag pa ni Lacson.
