SINGER-songwriter and former senatorial aspirant Atty. Jimmy Bondoc said the country would “immediately become better” if Vice President Sara Duterte were to assume the presidency.
In the latest episode of One PH’s Politika All The Way last Saturday, Bondoc said he believes the Vice President has the capability to steer the country in a better direction.
“I really think na kunwari maging presidente si VP Sara, the Philippines will immediately become better,” he said.
Bondoc has previously expressed support for Duterte amid controversies involving alleged corruption and supposed destabilization efforts targeting the Marcos administration.
He added, however, that the Vice President does not support calls urging President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to resign.
“I think I’m authorized to say this, pero noong nagkakaroon ng mga BBM resign na call, she didn’t like it,” Bondoc said.
