ITINANGGI ni Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista na may plano ang pamahalaan na isapribado ang Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT-3).
“The railway systems should remain the most affordable and safest mode of mass transit in the country,” sabi ni Bautista.
Ito’y bilang tugon sa ulat na ibebenta na umano ang MRT-3.
“We are looking at partnering with private rail operators for MRT 3s operations and maintenance under the same scheme with LRT 1 with the rail lines assets remaining government owned,” paliwanag ni Bautista.
