ITINALAGA ni Pangulong Duterte si presidential spokesperson Harry Roque bilang opisyal na tagapagsalita ng administrasyon kaugnay sa isyu ng West Philippine Sea (WPS).
“So, this is my order now to the Cabinet and to all…If we have to talk, we talk and tayo-tayo lang, and there’s one spokesman — si Secretary Harry will do it. Now you get the picture,” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang Talk to the People Lunes ng gabi.
Pinayuhan naman ni dating Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile ang pamahalaan na iwasang galitin ang China.
“All I can say, Mr. President, is we must do everything to avoid irritating China or giving China a reason to take a deal with our core territory because our core territory is very important to China. It’s like a fence,” sabi ni Enrile nang dumalo sa pagpupulong ng mga miyembro ng Gabinete.
