NANAWAGAN si Pangulong Duterte kay presumptive president Bongbong Marcos na buhayin muli ang nuclear power plant sa bansa.
“Kaya we are not yet dito sa nuclear level but I hope that the next administration would at least explore now the possibility of itong nuclear… Tutal ang nag-umpisa naman nito si Marcos noon,” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang Talk to the People Lunes ng gabi.
“But what moves the movement — maski saan ka maghanap it’s a product of oil kasi oil pinapagana ‘yung mga equipment, the machines in a factory that produces everything. Lahat na itong mga gamit, paggawa nito, paggawa nito, it’s oil because hindi naman tatakbo ‘yung makina nila sa factory kung walang oil. It’s the energy actually.
Idinagdag ni Duterte na mauubos din ang suplay ng langis sa mundo.
“It would be good for any government to prepare the possibility of making the transition earlier from oil ‘yung fossil fuel to nuclear kasi ang nuclear is forever,” aniya.
