“If I were asked personally, for example, if I were beside him right now and he would ask: Alan, what do you think? I will tell him: ‘Boss, you became one of the best presidents. Your legacy might be hit,” ani Cayetano.
“You know, whoever becomes the next president, even if its (Vice President) Leni Robedo,” she will consult with you. So just be the elder statesman,’” aniya.
“It’s he who has to decide, not me. But that’s my view. And what if the one he endorses as president will not win? So they will quarrel. This time around he will have no power for six years. He will just be waiting. If anything happens to the president, he might be blamed for it,” dagdag ni Cayetano.
“I am offering myself and I will offer myself because I have this program that I want to do and I will do for the country which I know will be effective. Whoever offers himself to run, that’s fine with me. I have no problem with that,” ani Sotto sa isang panayam.
“If he (Lacson) runs for president, I will support him and most probably I will be his running mate,” giit ni Sotto.
“If he does not run, I am still thinking of the possibility of running,” dagdag ng mambabatas.
