TUMULAK na si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos papuntang Davos, Switzerland para dumalo sa World Economic Forum (WEF) kung saan hihiling siya ng suporta sa Sovereign Wealth Fund na isinusulong ng kanyang administrasyon.
“We will highlight the steps the Philippines is taking to mend the fissures of such fragmentation, especially in our country but certainly in partnership with our friends, allies, and partners around the world,” sabi ni Marcos sa kanyang departure speech.
Idinagdag ni Marcos na isusulong niya kung paano masosolusyunan ang patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng mga pagkain, ang epekto ng nangyayaring giyera sa pagitan ng Russia at Ukraine at patuloy na banta ng climate change.
“I will draw attention to our efforts at building resilient infrastructure that bolsters our efforts to reinforce robust and resilient supply chains, ensure food security including its critical interlinkages with health and nutrition, while furthering climate-friendly, clean and green energy to power the Philippine economy,” aniya.
