Powerful 7.1 magnitude quake hits Nepal

Kathmandu experienced a strong earthquake early Tuesday morning, prompting residents to rush out of their homes in panic.

According to the National Earthquake Measurement Centre, the earthquake, measuring 7.i on the Richter scale, struck at 6:50 a.m., with its epicenter located in Dinggye, China.

Tremors were also felt in the nearby districts of Kavrepalanchwok and Dhading, causing widespread alarm among residents. Despite the intensity of the quake, no reports of damage or casualties have been confirmed as of now.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation and urge residents to remain vigilant.
