NAGPAABOT na ng pakikiramay ang pamahalaan ng Pilipinas sa Thailand matapos ang trahedyang sinapit nito bunsod ng mass shooting sa loob ng daycare center nitong Huwebes na ikinasawi ng 34 katao, karamihan ay mga bata.
“The Philippine Embassy expresses heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the people and government of the Kingdom of Thailand for the injured and lost lives in the shooting tragedy earlier today in Nongbua Lamphu province.
“We are shocked and saddened by the heartbreaking event and we are one with the Thai people in their grief as they face the painful aftermath of this tragedy,” ayon sa pahayag ng Philippine Embassy sa Bangkoko.
Hindi pa nakatatanggap ng opisyal na report ang embahada kung may mga Filipino na nasawi o nasugatan sa nasabing insidente.
“The Embassy is working with Thai authorities and the Filipino community in Thailand to ascertain if any Filipino is among the casualties or injured. The Embassy is ready to extend the necessary assistance to any affected Filipino national and their families,” ayon pa sa kalatas.
