SUPORTADO ng Pilipinas ang ipinalabas na resolusyon ng United Nation General Assembly na nagkokondena sa ginagawang pananakop ng Russia sa Ukraine.
“The Philippines votes Yes to the UNGA resolution and expresses explicit condemnation of the invasion of Ukraine,” sabi sa opisyal na pahayag ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Nauna nang nanawagan si dating Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario sa pamahalaan na suportahan ang Ukraine laban sa ginagawa ng Russia.
“We call for massive assistance commensurate with the growing humanitarian crisis and echo the UN Secretary General’s appeal for respect of humanitarian principles to protect civilians and civilian infrastructures in Ukraine,” sabi pa ng DFA.
