THREE siblings, aged 16, 14, and 12, were found dead near their home Wednesday morning, February 4, after they were prohibited from using their cellphones by a family member.
Authorities said there were no signs of foul play, and initial findings indicated that the siblings died by suicide.
Reports said the siblings were found lying near the building after local residents heard a loud noise around 2 a.m. and alerted authorities. They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
Investigators said the children, residents of Ghaziabad, a city near New Delhi, India, had become deeply engrossed in a Korean online game, prompting the family member to restrict their cellphone use.
The siblings reportedly left behind an eight-page letter expressing distress over the ban.
