PASIG City Mayor Vico Sotto and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray are the latest pair being “shipped” by netizens after fans noticed that they follow each other on Instagram.
Dubbed “ViCat” by fans, the two public figures are being touted as a potential “power couple,” with many online users saying they are a perfect match.
“Bagay! Match made in heaven pag nagkataon,” one netizen wrote.
“Oh future senator wife or maybe first lady if ever. OMG power couple if ever,” added another.
Supporters pointed to their shared qualities, calling both Vico and Catriona “smart and grounded” individuals with a strong sense of public service.
“I never imagined Vico with a beauty queen, but Cat really is a perfect match for him,” another user said.
Not everyone was convinced, however. Some dismissed the speculation as overblown.
“She looks 10 years older than him,” one comment read.
“No way! Better non-showbiz, alta and educated class woman ang bagay kay Vico,” another user added.
