HOLLYWOOD star Gwyneth Paltrow surprised and delighted Filipino fans after revealing that she recently tried cooking one of the country’s beloved breakfast staples — pork tocino.
In an Instagram post, the Oscar-winning actress shared a photo of the meal she prepared for her boyfriend, complete with cauliflower rice and a sunny-side-up egg.
“Tried my hand at making pork tocino this morning — sweet, savory, and incredibly flavorful,” Paltrow wrote. “Brad requested cauliflower rice for a carb-light #boyfriendbreakfast,” she added, referring to her partner, TV producer Brad Falchuk.
The unexpected culinary shout-out quickly caught the attention of Filipinos online, including local celebrities who took to the comments section to share their pride and excitement.
