Eman Bacosa replaces 6-year-old gloves during Belo-Kho shopping trip

EMAN Bacosa Pacquiao finally replaced the boxing gloves he had been using for six years after Dr. Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho took him on a spontaneous gear-shopping trip in Bonifacio Global City.

Upon entering Toby’s Sports, Eman mentioned that he had been using the same pair of gloves for six years.

Belo asked him to keep the old gloves for her, saying she wanted them as a memento once he becomes more established in the sport. “Para pag super famous ka, nasa akin na yung first gloves mo,” she said.

Eman’s first upgrade was a pair of Everlast Powerlock 2R Training Gloves, priced at USD64.99 (about P3,800). He then selected black-and-gold Everlast Elite 2 gloves costing USD54.99 (about P3,200).

Kho asked store staff to match the rest of his equipment with the colors of the gloves.

Belo and Kho also offered to buy new mitts for Eman’s trainer, Sultan Ramir Dino, even though he said he already had a working pair. Kho requested options that complemented Eman’s new gloves.

The group then picked up additional gear, including Everlast Elite 2 boxing shoes worth USD119.99 (around P7,000), a Nike Varsity Elite Shoe Bag priced at P1,895, and Oofos recovery slides at P2,995. They also selected training shirts and shorts from the Nike and Adidas sections.

At Oakley, Eman tried on sunglasses from the Sutro line, priced between PP8,300 and P9,600, after noting that he lacked proper eyewear for early morning runs.

Their final stop was Nike’s flagship store, where Eman chose the Nike Pegasus Plus men’s running shoes, priced at P9,895. The group also bought several pairs of white socks priced between P500 and P1,000.

Based on the prices shown in the vlog, Belo and Kho spent an estimated P48,000 to P55,000 on Eman’s new gear.
