AHTISA Manalo of Quezon Province was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 during the coronation night held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on May 2.
Manalo bested 65 other candidates, including national titleholders and international pageant veterans. She succeeded Chelsea Manalo, last year’s winner.
A returning candidate, Manalo previously placed third in the 2024 edition and represented the country in the Miss Cosmo pageant in Vietnam, where she finished in the Top 10. In 2018, she was crowned Binibining Pilipinas International and later finished as first runner-up at Miss International in Japan.
Despite a slip during the evening gown competition, Manalo completed her walk and received strong support from the audience.
The 26-year-old is a businesswoman and pageant veteran, having first joined national competitions in 2017.
