FORMER Manila mayor and candidate Isko Moreno has endorsed Brian Poe, the first nominee of the FPJ Panday Bayanihan party-list, in a move that highlights personal and political alliances.
Poe, son of Senator Grace Poe and grandson of “Da King” of Philippine movies, Fernando Poe Jr. (FPJ), expressed deep gratitude for Moreno’s support, recalling their shared efforts in aid distribution during his early days as a public servant.
“I’m honored to be here on Yorme’s stage,” he added.
Moreno, for his part, reflected on his close ties with FPJ, whom he called his godfather, and explained that his support for Grace Poe in 2016 and now Brian Poe stems from that enduring bond.
The FPJ Panday Bayanihan party-list is committed to food security, progress, and justice.
With Moreno’s endorsement, Poe’s campaign gains momentum, emphasizing a shared vision to improve the lives of Filipinos through inclusive leadership and grassroots efforts that aim to bring lasting change to communities across the country.
