Sharon Cuneta told to stop crying as husband wins Senate seat

FANS of Megastar Sharon Cuneta teased her to finally stop crying after her husband, former senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, secured a fresh term in the Senate in the 2025 midterm elections.

Netizens recalled Cuneta’s emotional appeals during a press conference leading up to the polls, where she tearfully asked the public to support her husband’s candidacy.

The veteran actress also drew attention online for breaking down as she questioned why some people refused to vote for Pangilinan.

In a Facebook post after his apparent win, Cuneta expressed gratitude to those who backed her husband.

May God bless us all. Mahal na mahal po namin kayo!” she wrote.

Fans celebrated the victory with some light teasing.

“Tahan na, Ate Shawie,” another added.
