IDINEKLARA ni Pangulong Duterte na special non-working holiday sa buong bansa sa Lunes, May 9, 2022 dahil sa nakatakdang national at local elections.
Inilabas ang Proclamation No. 1357 ngayong Huwebes, May 5, 2022, na pirmado ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.
“There is a need to declare Monday, May 9, 2022, a special (non-working) holiday to enable the people to properly exercise their right to vote, subject to the public health measures of the National Government,” ayon sa Proclamation 1357.
Magsisimula ang botohan alas-6 ng umaga at magsasara ito ng alas-7 ng gabi. Aabot sa 65.8 milyon ang inaasahang boboto sa Lunes.
