TALENT manager and vlogger Ogie Diaz called out senatorial candidate Willie Revillame over a video showing the TV host scolding supporters and staff during a campaign sortie.
In a Facebook post, Diaz shared a video clip where Revillame is seen handing out T-shirts while appearing visibly irritated. He was also seen reprimanding people who got too close to his campaign float.
“Dapat aware ang kandidato sa kanyang behavior pag nangangampanya, lalo na’t ang daming nakatutok na camera sa ‘yo,” Diaz wrote. “Hindi dapat pinapairal ang init ng ulo. Alam naman nating mainit na ang panahon, kaya pasensiya ang dapat pahabain.”
He added, “Jacket lang ang ipinamimigay, hindi naman titulo ng house and lot. So hindi dapat ganyan ang attitude.”
Diaz stressed that candidates are courting voters and should be mindful of how they present themselves in public. “Hindi porke nagpapakatotoo ka, tatanggapin ng tao ang masamang ugali.”
Revillame has yet to issue a statement regarding the incident.
