NAGULAT ang buong Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HnP) sa ginawang pagkalas ni Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte sa partido at ang biglaang paglipat nito sa Lakas-CMD.
Ito ang sinabi ni HnP Secretary-General Anthony del Rosario kasabay ang pahayag na hindi umano siya sinabihan ng alkalde na aalis na siya sa partido.
“I was really surprised, and I had no idea, even the oath-taking yesterday evening (November 11) with Lakas-CMD, we were all surprised,” ayon kay Del Rosario.
“We knew that she would join a national party in order for her to avail of the substitution process if she’s going to run for president or vice president, but we did not expect that she will join a national party as early as last night,” dagdag pa nito.
Sakabila nito, suportado umano nila si Sara sa desisyong ginawa nito at patuloy ang kanilang pagsuporta sa kung ano mang posisyon ang tatakbuhin nito.
“Again, this is something that she decided on her own and we respect it. We will support her 100 percent in whatever her final decision may be on 15 November,” ayon pa kay Del Rosario.
