MANANATILING neutral o walang ieendorsong kandidato sa pagkapresidente para sa May 9 elections si Pangulong Duterte.
“I may or I may not (endorse a candidate) but preferably I’d like to stay neutral,” sabi ni Duterte sa recorded inetrview ni Communications Secretary Martin Andanar na ipinalabas nitong Biyernes.
“Ibig sabihin wala akong susuportahan na kandidato unless again having said it, I’ll say it again, there’ll be a compelling reason for me to go out and tell the people what it is,” dagdag pa ni Duterte.
Anya pa, mapipilitan lamang siyang magtaas ng kamay ng isang kandidato kung kinakailangan.
“I would like to bide my time, I’m not in a hurry. But kung naman ‘yung maliliit na bagay lang ano ‘yun — only those however little that it may look by some people but in reality it is really the interest of the people which is at stake. Iyon talagang mapipilitan ako maglabas,” aniya.
