KINUMPIRMA ng Palasyo ang pulong sa pagitan nina Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at dating senador Bongbong Marcos.
“The Palace confirms that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte recently met with former Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr.,” sabi ni Acting Presidential Spokesperson Martin Andanar.
Idinagdag ni Andanar na naging maayos naman ang naging pagpupulong.
“It was a cordial and productive meeting, where the President shared his experiences and insights as an outgoing Chief Executive with the presidential aspirant,” dagdag ni Andanar.
Hindi naman sinabi ni Andanar kung nakuha na ni Marcos ang basbas ni Duterte.
“President Duterte likewise discussed the current government’s major achievements and gave pieces of advice to Mr. Marcos. In connection with this, the President expressed optimism that his administration’s notable programs and projects will be continued by the next administration,” ayon pa kay Andanar.
