Kinumpirma ng University of Oxford na walang degree si presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa nasabing unibersidad.
Ito ay matapos ilang beses sabihin ng kampo ni Marcos na may degree ito sa Oxford.
Ayonsa unibersidad, tanging Special Diploma sa Social Studies ang meron si Marcos ngunit walang itong degree mula rito.
“We can confirm that a Ferdinand Marcos matriculated at the University of Oxford in 1975 to read for a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. According to our records, he did not complete his degree, but was awarded a Special Diploma in Social Studies in 1978,” pahayag nito.
Dagdag pa nito, hindi full maituturing na full graduate Diploma ang Special Diploma ng dating senador.
“There is no recorded link between the BA [Bachelor of Arts] and the Special Diploma, and the Special Diploma was not a full graduate Diploma,” ani Cathy King, private secretary to the registrar sa Oxford University.
