MANANATILI pa rin sa ilalim ng state of calamity and buong bansa dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic, ayon sa anunsyo ng Malacanang ngayong Lunes.
Posibleng tumagal pa ito ng tatlong buwan, ayon kay Press Secretary Trixi Angeles, kasabay ang paliwanag na ang natitirang mga buwan ay gagamitin para sa indemnification, emergency procurement, at special risk allowance para sa health care workers.
“The state of calamity is extended for possibly three months but only for the purpose of preserving the benefits under it such as but not limited to the indemnification, emergency procurement, special risk allowance for healthcare workers,” ayon kay Angeles sa isinagawang briefing sa Palasyo.
“We will transition out of the state of calamity after further review,” dagdag pa niya.
