SINUSPINDE ng Senado ang sesyon nito mula ngayong araw, Martes hanggang Enero 23, dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19.
Ayon sa Senado, may mga staff nito ang nagpositibo rin sa COVID-19.
Ito ay upang bigyang daan din ang disinfection ng Senate building.
“Employees are reminded to continue to make themselves available to answer inquiries from and to render assistance to their immediate supervisors through the various means of communication under a work from home arrangement,” ayon sa advisory ng Senado.
Lahat ng committee hearings at technical working group meetings ay pansamantalang gagawing puro virtual na lamang..
“It bears repeating that everyone is enjoined to refrain from making non-essential trips.
Everyone is likewise reminded to observe all health protocols to ensure safety and
