INAPRUBAHAN na rin ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ang pagpapalabas ng P11.5 bilyong One COVID-19 allowance para sa mga healthcare workers.
Aabot sa 1.6 milyong pampubliko at pribadong heathcare at non-healthcare workers ang makikinabang sa nasabing pondo.
“Our health care workers deserve all the support and assistance from their government. They’ve been risking their lives to save and protect our people amidst this still prevailing pandemic. This is the least we can do for them,” sabi ni Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman.
Nauna nang inaprubahan ng DBM ang pagpapalabas ng P1.04 bilyong pondo para sa special risk allowance (SRA) ng mga healthcare workers.
