SUMISIPA na rin ang bilang ng mga kaso ng coronavirus disease sa labas ng National Capital Region, ayon sa Department of Health (DOH).
Dumadami na rin ang bilang ng mga kaso partikulas na sa lalawigan ng Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, Central Luzon, Ilocos Region at Cagayan Valley.
“NCR, Regions 4A, 3, now I think even Region 1 and Region 2 are also registering spikes in cases. That is why I call upon our regional directors of DOH, the DILG (Department of the Interior and Local Government), and the local government units in these areas to ramp up more aggressively the vaccination of their citizens,” sabi ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III.
“So the answer to that is yes, we are starting to see spikes in neighboring regions and that is what we have observed,” dagdag pa niya.
Sa ngayon, naitala ng DOH ang 43 kaso ng highly transmissible Omicron variant COVID-19, kungsaan 21 sa mga ito ang nakita sa lokal habang ang natitira ay mula sa mga pabalik na overseas Filipino.
