PINAYAGAN na ni Pangulong Duterte ang hindi pagsusuot ng face shield sa mga open spaces.
Sa kanyang Talk to the Nation Miyerkules ng gabi, inaprubahan ni Duterte ang rekomendasyon ng mga eksperto na gawin na lamang limitado ang pagsusuot ng face shield.
Ayon kay Duterte, kailangan magsuot ng face shield sa tatlong Cs — closed, crowded at closed contact.
Ayon kay Duterte, sakop nito ang mga indoor establishments, transport, gatherings, at iba pang aktibidad na maaaring pagmulan ng close contact.
“Eh iyon ang recommendation, ‘yun ang masunod. Hindi naman ako expert. Mine was just a — what you would call a knee reaction noong dumating ‘yung balita na pumapasok — mabilis na ang pasok ng COVID D dito sa ating bansa. So, I have ordered that the implementing guidelines be issued immediately,” aniya.
