NAGBABALA si Pangulong Duterte na mas marami pang mamamatay dahil sa banta ng coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
“We are put on notice that ang mga ospital natin punong-puno at saka maraming namatay na sa atin, it’s 30,000 plus. It’s going to increase as we travel this journey through the COVID pandemic,” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang Talk to the Nation na inere Huwebes ng umaga.
Idinagdag ni Duterte na asahan din ang patuloy na pagtaas ng mga kaso ng Covid-19 sa buong bansa.
“Tumataas, maraming nahahawa, a lot of them are afflicted all over the country na. At it used to be that the children were not affected by the contamination noon, pero ngayon pati bata,” sabi ni Duterte.
Ngayong araw, nagsimula na ang implementasyon ng Alert Level 4 sa Metro Manila habang nasa ilalim ng general community quarantine.
“So just be careful. Let me just ask you to, again, exercise the cautionary measures of washing, then distancing, and wearing the mask. And of course, I said, if you will the — itong face shield will provide an added premium of — well, of course, prevention,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
