DAHIL sa walang humpay na pagtaas ng presyo ng petrolyo dulot ng gera sa Ukraine, iniutos ni Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III ang mabilisang pag-review sa minimum wage bilang tulong sa mga manggagawan maapektuhan ng inaasahang oil crisis.
Inatasan ni Bello ang mga Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards na tingnan ang posibilidad na iangat ang minimum wage ng mga manggagawa dahil sa sunod-sunod na pagtaas ng langis na magdudulot ng pagtaas ng presyo ng mga bilihin.

“Setting and adjusting the wage level is one of the most challenging part of minimum wage fixing.
