A CITY-WIDE curfew for minors officially took effect in Manila on Wednesday night, July 2.
Under Executive Order No. 2, individuals under 18 are prohibited from staying in public places between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m.
The Manila Department of Social Welfare has been tasked to lead its enforcement.
Mayor Isko Moreno said the measure aims to keep the streets safe and curb incidents involving minors, including gang-related violence and street brawls.
