INIHAYAG ng Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) Regulatory Office na tatanggalin na ang 12 porsiyentomg Value Added Tax (VAT) na isinasama sa buwanang water bill ng mga kostumer.
“These changes will result in a reduction in Maynilad and Manila Water customers’ monthly water bills,” sabi ng MWSS.
“The OPT (Other percentage tax) and LFT (local franchise tax) shall be reflected as “Government Tax” in the customers’ SOA beginning 21 March 2022,” ayon pa sa MWSS RO.
