KAPUSO actor and “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” second big placer Will Ashley said he is considering seeking legal action against individuals who continue to send him hate messages and insults online, including those who dragged his mother into the attacks.
In a post on X on Monday, Nov. 3, Will shared a screenshot of a message he received from a basher who hurled profanity at him and called his mother “pangit.”
“I’ve been getting a lot of messages saying they hope my mom dies. Bakit umabot tayo sa ganyan?” Will wrote. “Last week lang, nagkaroon ng online reflection about bullying and mental health, tapos lumala this week?”
The actor said he could not understand why strangers would display such deep hostility when, he stressed, he has not wronged anyone.
“We are just doing our job, working for our craft, our art. Bakit kailangan itapon natin ang morality? O baka sadyang masama lang talaga kayong tao and can’t wait to wish ill on others,” he said. “Wala kaming ninanakaw, wala kaming sinasaktan o tinatapakan, lalo na ang pamilya ko.”
He also defended fellow housemates who have been dragged into the attacks. According to Will, the friendships they formed inside the PBB house are real.
“Not everything we do is a calculated PR move, we are humans too,” he said. “4 months kaming magkakasama, supporting each other every day… so obviously close talaga kami. Sana all the fans, including the very few of mine na gumagawa nito, let’s tone it down please.”
Will said he has already begun consulting for possible legal action.
“I don’t want to tolerate this hate anymore na ibinabato nyo sa kahit sino. Not me, not my friends and especially not my family,” he said. “Sana use your time to spread love, positivity and support.”
