Vic Rodriguez to DDS: Iparamdam natin galit, hagupit ng mamayang Pilipino kay Vice Ganda

FORMER Executive Secretary Vic Rodriguez has urged the public to boycott McDonald’s Philippines, saying its celebrity endorser Vice Ganda disrespected former president Rodrigo Duterte in a recent concert performance.

In a TikTok video posted on Aug. 15 via the account “Sarsuwela sa Politika,” Rodriguez said that Vice’s remarks during the show were offensive to Duterte and his supporters.

The controversy arose from a comedic “jetski holiday” skit, in which Vice referenced the West Philippine Sea, the International Criminal Court (ICC), and Duterte loyalists.

Rodriguez also claimed Vice made remarks targeting members of the Iglesia ni Cristo.

McDonald’s Philippines has yet to comment on Rodriguez’s call for a boycott.
