“ARE the Chinese the new heroes in this country?”
Ito ang tanong ni dating Marine Col. Ariel Querubin sa Civil Aviation Authority makaraan umano silang itaboy mula sa Heroes’ Lounge ng Tuguegarao Airport.
Sa Facebook post, ikinuwento ni Querubin na papasok siya at ilan pang retiradong heneral sa Heroes’ Lounge na para sa mga pulis at militar pero hindi sila pinayagan ng mga bantay.
Mas nawindang si Querubin nang makita sa loob ng silid ang ilang mga “Chinese-looking individuals” na nagpapalamig at prenteng-prente ang pagkakaupo.
“After a very fruitful trip in Isabela and Tuguegarao the past few days, I was very disappointed to find that myself and a handful of retired generals were not allowed to use the Heroes Lounge of the Tuguegarao Airport because it was reserved for these chinese looking individuals,” ani Querubin.
Kaya ang tanong niya: “Are the Chinese the new heroes in this country?”
“Definitely NOT!” dagdag ng dating opisyal.
Tinawagan naman niya ang atensyon ni CAAP Airport Manager Mary Sulyn Sogorsor na magpaliwanag ukol sa insidente.
“Please take accountability for this,” ani Querubin.
