KINUMPIRMA ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang pagkakaaresto ng nasipang kongresista ng Negros Oriental at designated terrorist na si Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves Jr., sa Dili, East Timor.
Ayon sa DOJ, inaresto si Teves sa Top Golf Driving Range and Bar alas-4 ng hapon nitong Huwebes.
Si Teves ay nahaharap sa multiple kasong murder kaugnay sa pagpatay kay Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo at siyam na iba pa noong Marso 2023, at talong iba pa noong 2019.
“We already confirmed that the mastermind of my husband’s murder has finally been captured by Timor Leste police. Words cannot express how it feels to finally see the man who terrorized our province and brutally murdered my husband surrounded by police. Dalaygon ang buhi nga Dios!” ayon sa byuda ni Degamo na si Pamplona, Negros Oriental Mayor Janice Degamo.
