SUPPORTERS of former President Rodrigo Duterte continue to call for his return to the Philippines.
In a Facebook post by Alvin & Tourism, Duterte Diehard Supporters (DDS) shared their message to the International Criminal Court (ICC) through an underwater demonstration. Several divers were seen submerging into the sea while holding placards reading “Bring PRRD home alive.”
The post stated, “Posting this to remind ourselves that even underwater, even silenced, even pushed to the edge, we will still shout the same! ICC, bring FPRRD home. Bring him home alive.”
Duterte is currently under the custody of the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands, where he is facing charges of crimes against humanity linked to his administration’s war on drugs.
